MotherBoard Bios Not Sure what to do

Thread Starter
I have the ASUS A8N-E, with AMD 64x2 3800+, and the Nvidia 6600GT 128MB PCI-E, In the Bios you can overoverclock, I never over clocked before. The is also a setting for the graphics card not sure if I need to set it it is PCI and PCI-E setting. I have 3 fans. Can any one direct me in overclocking this system, I am scared and I want it to be a safe configuration. My ram is 2gig of corsair value select BTW. Thanks for all your help with this.

PCIe for the card.
A different Asus MB is in the below article but it will provide some insight to OCing

First of all welcome, please fill out your system specs in the control panel under quick links, so we know what your system is. For your PCI or PCIe question, you would use PCIe since that is the type of video card you have.

It is rather difficult to do any real damage to your computer if you take things slowly. If you go to far and your computer won't boot, then just find the battery on your motherboard and pop it out. Wait a minute or so and put it back it. That resets all BIOS values to default. I am not a AMD buff, so I can not give you all the details of OCing a AMD. But, I can suggest that you order some Artic Silver Five:

this will give you lower temps, thus allowing you to OC more
