My mobo is too a micro atx Wish I could get a Higher PSU and test overclock to its limits lol. I may underclock and undervolt my cpu and see if I can get higher clocks on my 5670.

Also, waiting for the power usage of the card from Courage (if he is able to pull it off )
yeah having a micro is pretty lame but at the same time it saves alot of power without sacrificing alot of graphical capability, personally i love my m2n68 am plus it was only 30 bucks and came with my cpu, the only down fault is that my mobo heat sink (not my cpu heat sink) is right next to my PCIe slot and it heats up alot, but my case is beast and cools my pc down to 28c idol, especially when i have my pc right over top my AC vents, **** is freezing at night!

amazing clocks guys. the price just dropped here to £45 with free delivery. the 5770 is still £100ish so get 2 good ones and you can be demolishing the higher card!

just gave a crappy hb pencil mod and turned fans off to cut some power (still using that crappy 530w)

will see how it goes ;D

well better, about 30 secs off a 3dmark11 score on 900/1050, then grey screen D=

NEED PSU OMGS 35a/320w on my 12v's maybe not enough for the xfire demands after you turn off ULPS

whats a good 700w-ish psu?

it's unbelievable the memory timings you guys are getting.

i just tried as a test to lower GPU to 700 and up mem to 1100 and it gave me vertical bars instantly =X

so far i think i've figured out - vertical bars (blue or grey or black etc) are memory issue's, freezing or blank screen with no visual bars are gpu errors.

hb don't work so good for voltmod maybe >.<

also using 550w psu for just 1 in OC is probably a big pointer too, and i'm trying 2oc'd on 530 (2nd hand)

Yes I believe you are right - vertical lines and stuttering is usually memory - freezing and black screens are core. I could only get 1090 without memory heatsinks (most people can't, I believe its because the Asus one uses higher-quality memory), you should get some With memory heatsinks I can get 1200.

i cant believe you guys arent getting better results with just a stock card! i mean i do have a nice case! lots of air flow and all and a 3200 rpm fan on the back of the card but still!

I got my clocks to the way they are now with nothing but determination and persistence.

for those of you who cant get there clocks to work than turn your fan all the way up on it try to get as much air flow as you can to your rig! ( put your case over your heating vent and blare the AC to cool it down, have a intake taking that air pointed to your gpu!

also i put thermal goop (paste) on the uncovered ram chips just a little bit not enough to crust up, and my card works fine! and make sure you do the volt mod right before you try to overclock it also! some versions of this card arent ddr5 they are ddr3 and cant be overclocked to out specs at all no matter how much you volt modd it!

the ddr3 version will prob stop working right arround 900 or so! also doesnt matter if you have 512 or 1gb you wont see any performance increase between the 2. same across the board from the specs ive seen!

and food for thought! the wattage of your psu doesnt matter that much! a 550 watt should be enough if you have a good enough psu like mastercooler of diablo tek, or xfx those are all good psu's from sites ive read! i have a 650 watt and before i had a 550 watt diablo tek that i didnt know had a blow transformer in it until just the other day when i tried to build a rig for my nephew!

cant seem to find any real good ones for cheap to help you out! sorry man, but like i suggested try to go to best buy and get one! doesnt matter about the price because your going to return it anyways and test it out and see if you really do need a psu! run some DIAGS and see if it helps! remember to down clock you cpu while trying to OC your GPU it will help trust me!

best of luck to all of you and thanks again courage your help and your feedback with your scores to push me to go further! lol Cheers Mate!

just pushed out a 900/1050 finally. went to the art store and bought a 2b and 4b.

new clocks only gave me 60 more points over 900/1000 score!

the issue for me is i have ram sinks but 2 modules sit 1mm away from the gpu heatsink

too far to fill with paste, i bought thermal pads but that was slightly worse than nothing because the stock sapphire sink has grooves cut just above the chips so some air blows on them (recycled from the gpu tho). ideally i'd have a 1mm copper square that i could paste on and it would touch the hsf aswell =X

clearly the lack of a decent points boost from increased clocks is pointing at not enough power, causing a cut out (and usually a reboot). on wednesday i'll order a corsair 750 or something. i've got $150ish to spend so might aswell make it something that will last me.
