Hello everyone,

First let me just say im totally new, forgive me if im abit slow

but id like to know if i could overclock my

"AMD Sempron Processor(tm) 2600+"
1.60GHz
512mb Ram

My mother board spec is as follows,

K8 Upgrade VM800
"some small print" For socket 754 AMD 64-bit Anthlon64 and 32-bit Sempron processors

Yes you could overclock that thing, probably to either 2.0ghz, or even maybe 2.2 ghz. But dont jump to that speed you have to work your way up in small increments.

Thanks for your feedback, I have never overclocked b4 but am really interested, could you tell me how i could go about doing so, or direct me to some sort of guid.

as far as i know its just a reguler Sempron 32, but i think my mother board supports 64

I think it is a 32 bit one, and for the guid This should be good.

Edit: Yes your motherboard does support 64bit.

Ok ive taken some time reading through some guids ect, got a generall over veiw of this whole thing, but when i get into my BIOS, then for example, over to my mainboard settings showing the voltage ect, i am unable to go down and select any options, im beggining to think that my mother board must have some sort of lock to disable any1 fiddling around in there

MotherBoard is a "K8 Upgrade VM800"
Proccessor is a "AMD Sempron 2600+ 1.6ghz"
