Cooler Master Cosmos S Issues!!!

Thread Starter
So decided to swap cases from my HAF 932 to a Cosmos S since I got it for free. Swapped everything over to the new chasis including the H2O system and go to power on and I get nothing at all. No signs of any power or anything. I grabed the front panel off my HAF to make sure everything was still all good on my mobo and of course it is. So right now I have my HAF front panel controlling my Cosmos S. Has anyone else had any issues with the front panel of the Cosmos S? Any suggestions on how to fix?

Bake it.

Have you tried different wiring configurations? Some front panels have backwards wiring from what I've seen, which might be as simple as flipping the connectors upside down and plugging them in.

Possibly a silly question, but just checking.
You have connected the switch to the header off the 24pin power extension cable right?

This. The Cosmos S will not power on if you dont use its 24 pin power cable.

He already stated that it powers on with the HAF 932 front panel when installed in the Cosmos S chassis.

Which means ? The Cosmos S front panel has it's own 24 pin connector that the PSU 24 pin must be plugged into or it will not power on. If he plugs the PSU directly itno the mobo it will not turn on. Other front panels will work this way but the Cosmos S touch sensitive front panel power will not . If he has it configured this way and it still wont power on then there is a problem with the frontpanel connector.

Yeah, I was thinking that after I posted, forgot that the Cosmos S had its own touch sensitive power button. My bad.

thanks for the info everyone. The case actually didn't come with a 24 pin with it. So yes, I was plugged directly into the mobo from my psu. I will check and see if I can find one and see what happens. Thanks for the info everyone

I see that the 24 pin cable that comes with the case also has a 3 pin that comes off of it. What is that for?
