Its to power the touch sensor for the touch operated button. You need that little 3 pin fella. You may be able to wiring a three pin into your existing 24 pin cable with a soldering iron and the right connections.

ok so I got the 24 pin cable from my buddy. Luckily he had an extra laying around. Plugged it in and now everything is all kosher. Thanks for the tips guys I really appreciate it. I was getting hella frustrated trying to figure out what the heck was wrong. I absolutly love this case though. By far one of the sexiest cases out there and im glad I switched even though I just got done modding my HAF case.

Have you put the two side plates on to the hard drive cage the right way?

They came already assembled or I'm not using the correct fittings which I strongly believe I am... I've taken plenty of pictures when I get a moment I'll upload them, review them and let me know what ya think. my cables are a total mess

I know this thread is old,but after using google I found this thread & would hope someone can help.

Hi guys,I've bought some used items from forums & on ebayUK & after taken around 3 months to get all the parts I've hooked it all up,but when I put it on the first time I heard a crackling noise & then seen white smoke coming from the USB ports on top of the case :-/
I obviously turned off the PC from the mains asap & then disconnected a SSD & just left my trusty HDD in the PC,but all it does now is the fan spins for a second & then PC turns off.
I'm not sure Ram or even a faulty CPU or GPU can do this & it's like I've got the wrong connections on the motherboard from the PC case but it looks correct.

The motherboard capsuals are not busted & motherboard looks ok.

Any ideas ?

The motherboard is GIGABYTE P67A-D3-B3.
The CPU could be a suspect but the smoke was not near the CPU & the reason I state the CPU is this EbayUK:271069942263

The PSU can be ruled out as I'm using it again to type this on my other computer.

Spec of the new build..........
Windows 7 Ultimate
GIGABYTE P67A-D3-B3
Intel Core i7-2600k
2x4gb Corsair ram
Corsair 620w PSU
GTX460 GPU
Coolermaster Cosmos S case

Any help more than welcome..................

Do you think I'll need to replace all the cables on the case that go to the top USB ports ?
