Looks quite nice, some people might say a different cooler. As for the video card is it really necessary?

will Noctua NH-D14 interfere with 8gb g.skill ripjaws ?
from what ive gathered, the nh-d14 is large and will be in the way of the ram. i would recommend the venomous - x, yes because i have one and because it is also better than the megahalems, and TRUE, etc. it is pretty new and has served everyone who has one very well. and its not as large as the NH-D14.

If you need the Corsair 1000HX and haven't bought one yet, I am selling one in the link in my sig. It will save you some money off brand new.

i think a 5970 is overkill for that build, but it's your money, your choice. i would go nothing more than a single 5870. you could even run a couple 5850's (if your mobo is xfire capable) and that would run anything out today and then some very well, and still have dx11. then i'd take the money you would have spent on the 5970 and put it into a ssd, or another wd caviar black to run in raid, or a more powerful psu, or a bigger/better monitor, or a sound card, etc.

as for the noctua, i'd take a look at a corsair h50. people are getting really good temps with those (especially if you are planning on oc'ing) and they don't cost too much. just make sure to use a good tim.

everything else looks good.
