DRAM config - Press Enter
FSB BUS freq. - 255
LDT-FSB Freq. ratio - 4
LDT-BUS Trans. Width - down 16 up 16
CPU/FSB freq. ratio - 11
PCI Express Freq. - 100mhz
K8 Cool n Quiet support - Disable
CPU StartUp Value - Start Up

CPU VID control - 1.4
CPU VID Special - 104%
LDT Volt. control - 1.30v
Chip set Volt. control - 1.50v
DRAM Volt. Control - 2.7

These should get you running at 2.8.
Under the DRAM configuration, you need to change the memory divider (DRAM FREQUENCY SET) to 180, should be one of the first settings..

too high too fast, do what he said but with 220 fsb starting point. Go slowly from there and watch your temps.

too high too fast? You aren't serious...read the whole thread please....too high in my book is too much VCORE. he could do this speed with 1.35v if his chip is good..

i'll be making the changes..with tytlyf settings and see what I come up with.

It seems doable...
any problems and I can just go back a bit

if I was to lower my FSB down, do I also need to lower my vcore also?

You dont have to lower your vcore...only if you want cooler temps...you should be good up to 2.7-2.8 on default 1.35vcore. I have run ALOT of voltage in this processor, so dont fear my 1.45 recommendation...
My settings should work just fine.....I had a feeling earlier you were using "gotomyPC" to overclock your computer at home while you were at work...ahah

I did all the settings that you posted, all went well except one setting and that was the " CPU/FSB freq. ratio"...I can only select up to "x 9" not "11" and that puts me at a core speed of 2070.7 mhz currently right now...

temps are fine and stable....and I also updated my BIOS going through the winflash program and stuff.

Is there any way to change the freq ratio higher...?

when I selected 255 for the FSB BUS freq to 255, my comp wouldn't load, ,so I put that down to 230....and it worked fine, i guess the only thing holding back is the multiplier....

Sorry bout that, This whole time I thought you had a 148. My bad, well you will probably only get to about 2.4 with that chip, possibly higher, let's go for 2.4.

DRAM config - Press Enter
FSB BUS freq. - 267
LDT-FSB Freq. ratio - 3
LDT-BUS Trans. Width - down 16 up 16
CPU/FSB freq. ratio - 9
PCI Express Freq. - 100mhz
K8 Cool n Quiet support - Disable
CPU StartUp Value - Start Up

CPU VID control - 1.5
CPU VID Special - 104%
LDT Volt. control - 1.30v
Chip set Volt. control - 1.50v
DRAM Volt. Control - 2.7

.
Under the DRAM configuration, you need to change the memory divider (DRAM FREQUENCY SET) to 166, should be one of the first settings..
