Seems great to me, but do you really need 8gb? It might be hard to get 4.0Ghz stable, without an aftermarket cooler. How about an H50?

I want to put a Megahalems in if it will fit on my board. Have you had any problems from your H50?

No, and I heard there is some deals going on with them. $50-$60. Someone is selling their modded one, it's a great price at $60.

Best buy has an H50 for $50, and while if you look around the Mega beats it, it only barely beats it, and if your case has those coolio water cooling holes it's really easy to mount just outside the case and then it will cream the Mega and (as far as I know) any and all other air coolers out there.

The lines are steel braided on the inside and the pump is made to last, I'm getting one for my rig that's almost identical... as someone told me "Do it and don't look back!"

Also, looks great but have you considered the HAF 932 AMD Edition case? Since your going with a picture perfect Dragon platform build how cool would it be to have the limited edition dragon case? (If you did then we would have almost identical builds, except I'm going with the 5850- you know with that whole college thing, and the whole lack of money thing).

Good luck!

-John

That is a really nice case. Only thing is I would have to paint the inside. But that is not a big deal since I work for a paint company . Also if I did go with that case I would have to switch power supply since the CP-850 wont fit in it. Thinking the CORSAIR CMPSU-750HX 750W.

Did you get the G. Skill Ripjaws DDR3 1600Mhz Cas 7 RAM?

I like everything else about your build except one big question...what HSF are you going to use? Ah I see...H50 more than likely. The only time you'll notice a huge performance increase in Windows with 8GB over 4GB if is you use a lot of RAM intensive applications. Personally, I generally have up to 3-4 games running at once. 8GB of RAM is perfect for it because I run all of them simultaneously without any huge performance decreases (except on CPU physics...damn you Force Unleashed hehe...had to stop running all other games to play it).

As far as cases go, I like the HAF 932 because they come with big fans which are always a plus in my book. I do wish the inside was black. I don't work for a paint company so for me it's a bit more difficult but since you do, grab one, paint it, post pics

Stuck between the H50 and Megahalems. I will more than likely go with the H50 just because I cant find a decent RED LED fan with enough static pressure (trying to make everything match). And I will post pictures when its done. Ordering all the parts next Friday from Newegg.

More than likly I will spray paint it, on sale for $1.99 a can. Finding a Spray Rig to borrow and buying some Industrial Enamel will cost more and be more of a hassle.
