While idle its at 1.32v, while 100% load it goes to 1.27.

If i disable vdroop and leave it at 1.27 would i become unstable?
Dont have time to try it, folding like crazy when i can before chimp challenge.
Most likly, unless you where giving to many volts in the first place.
But the only way to know is try it.

Probably, and it would run hotter at a higher voltage during load!

Not always. I have increased volts significantly with no increase in temps, it's hit or miss though.

IF you're gonna turn off vdroop, you better be at least .05v below max voltage. Cuz you're gonna lose protection from those spikes.

Nope, don't like it.

Vdroop off. Evga board, W/C'ed proc, it was too sluggish when I turned it on.

Maybe if I turned Turbo off and just clocked to a base of 4.0, it might work then?

With my vote, the poll is now 50/50 except TwoCables who mis-voted so 49% on, 51% off?

As for voltage, I run 1.45 with it off and something like 1.37 with it on, except, of course, when tubo kicks in, then it varies. Another reason to leave it off, steady(er) current.

The only problem with that is of the 50% that voted for off, about 95% are still misinformed on what vdroop is and why it makes no actual stability difference to turn it off.

i have llc on from like almost 1 year, my chip is clocked to 4ghz, with 1,2V in bios, 1,184V in cpu-z. no bsods, no stability issues whatsoever, so i vote for LLC ON.

From what i read from the graph of vdroop/vdrop on/off, it indicated that LLC in fact did not eliminate the vdroop at first place, it only bumps it up to the original idle level AFTER it has dropped, but instability can happens no matter how short period the voltage has stayed in the lowest level (maximum negative offshoot), and the attempt to bring the voltage back to the orginal (idle) level also increase the maximum voltage hit when the loading level decrease from peak to idle......

In short, i dont see any reason to use LLC, as it did not eliminate the instability resulted from vdroop, even worse, it increased the voltage fluctuation (the delta of min/max voltage), meaning a higher maximum voltage hit to maintain the stability.......The only valid reason to have LLC on IMHO is when extreme OCing, the maximum Vcore setting available in BIOS is simply not enough, where LLC may be the last resort, but otherwise i would keep it OFF.
