I know what you mean. I bought a 30$ mat at EB and Im glad its got a 3 year warranty. I took back the cheap one and they gave me an upgraded one because they ran out of the cheap ones for free. Now I took that one back for a new one. Unoftunately I lost the cable that goes from the mat to the ps2 so I cant use it. It still has the xbox plugin so Ill sell it to someone.

Bummer... yeah... I think like... if you're a woman who likes to work out on easy standards and lights and doesn't want to push anything, then the ignitino mat might be great... but if you're like me... and you just want to keep pushing yourself harder and harder... well the mat takes a reall beating with 140 pounds beating the crap out of it on intricate heavy songs. Doing that, it only takes about 3-7 days for me to start noticing an arrow that's crapping out.

You need to be oriental, or a ninja, or both to get an A on Max Unlimited Heavy. Thankfully I'm a ninja, but I have a lot of training to do. I've gotten an A on Max Unlimited standard, but it'll be a while before I get an A on the heavy version. I can't completely see the notes yet on the most intense parts.

*Thinks of PurePwnage* "I will not let the master down!"

My mom works out on it too (which is why we got it). I have mastered one thing though... breaking mats lol.. I broke an ignition mat in a single weekend. Thankfully they've been in warranty every time. Because they keep wearing out my mom is considering buying.... a Cobalt Flux O_O. On their website they show a Divx video of it being run over by 3 cars and a moped, and then being played on. It's made out of Lexan and things... it's insane
A COBALT FLUX!?! My friend has that and he says it's a lot easier....

Ever seen a really fast guy play so fast his feet and legs are like a tornodo?

I've seen people play it, but I myself have yet to try it. I find it a pretty good idea to make a video game into a form of excercise, but you gotta think fast.
