AS5ing gfx cards?

Is it possible to simply replace say, a gF2s old thermal stuffs with AS5? or is there different process etc?
Would it be worth it???

Yes you can replace old thermal compound with AS5. To do this you need to remove the heatsink carefully without damaging the GPU DIE and clean old thermal compound off and replace with a bb size of as5 but make sure you dont get AS5 on the board as it will short circuit.

Phew. Good. Should havve asked first, but i went ahead and did it with my GF2 mx200. All went smoothly, luckily. btw, how would AS5 short circuit the card? Aint it like, non conductive or something...?

No AS5 will short circuit the board as it contains small fragments of metal including silver.
