Can somebody help guide me through the process of installing my new 6600GT, I want to make sure I do it PERFECT. I've got an onboard GFX chip so I want to make sure thats taken care of, and any old NVIDIA stuff still on my system, just the whole process... Any takers???

sure...real simple...
...uninstall current video drivers
...turn off computer
...open your case
...take off agp/pci rear case slot cover
...put in card into slot
...screw down card into slot
...hook up power connector
...boot into bios setup and disable onboard video
...let windows find the card and cancel installing drivers automatically
...download the newest drivers from the nvidia website (I think 81.98 or something)
...reboot
...download coolbits and instlall it
...go into your video properties in the advanced settings
...click on the clock frequencies tab
...click on manual over clocking
...click accept
...click detect optimal frequencies
...and then get your game on!

hopefully this is exact enough

how'd it go?

oh hey, I just saw this. on many computers w/ onboard gfx the process is the same. I would just say that before you just pop your 6600GT into the mobo you should go into the bios and make sure that your mobo looks for a pcie/agp video card first. often it will look there first then load up the onboard... but if for some reason it uses onboard first you'll want to make sure you change that.
