300gb to work w/ ECS K7S5A Pro motherboard?

ok i'm a newbie... thanks HAHA...

i'm tryin to get a Maxtor 300gb to work w/ my motherboard K7S5A Pro. But i am getting the idea that the MB doesnt support that big of size. so is there anything i can do, maybe partition it? thanks!

if you google around im pretty sure it only supports 120 and below That mobo was in my first comp <333 with a 750mhz thunderbird i think it was. An 80 gig will run on it fine that im aware of.

so u think if I partition it 3 ways or maybe 2 it will work. Will the mobo read the HD as 2 or 3 drives or its smarter than that??? thnx
