I guess I'll post here when I get home from work, although not much... redface.gif

Edit:

My setup in-the-works

450

ASUS Xonar DX
Pioneer VSX-521-k
Infinity Primus 163's

Currently trying to find a deal on a good sub.

I also have a pair of BX5a's currently hiding in the corner I throw up as surrounds every now and then, but I don't really have anywhere to put them...

450

I'm pretty much brand new to audio, criticism (constructive... or not....tongue.gif) is appreciated.
Yes, I know my room is a mess at the moment.

I like your setup. Limited room is always a challenge.smile.gif Do you have room for a sub?

You could just post the waveforms and spectral analyzer.

I'm just saying that maybe the mastering is probably crap, so listening to a FLAC file compared to a 320 MP3 wouldn't have additional benefits.

There are a ton artists that have music that, even playing through an original CD, doesn't sound much better than a 128kbps MP3.

I could be wrong, but I'm just assuming since the majority of JB listeners probably use iPod headphone and Skullcandies.

Yes, I know my room is a mess at the moment.

I sure am going to make room if it's a problem tongue.gif. I might just throw it next to my desk behind my AVR. But yes my room is very small and kind of a PITA due to what's in it. I really want to get rid of that twin bed since I sleep in the other room about the same size with a king in it (and not much else).
