Gotcha. id deff make sure you have the latest firmware installed.

I'm looking at the upgrading to the UMC-200 with either the XPA-3 and wait on the surrounds or run the UPA-700 and then get another amp down the road...

I purchased the XTi for it's DSP, I need it for the sub I'll be powering. A new fan for it should be here tomorrow, I picked up a Noctua, so it should be much quieter.

Q: Usage?
A: Music listening, (no production) mostly rock and instrumental music/vocals/blues/new age, i prefer detailed sound and huge soundstage, with decent lows.
Q: Room size?
A: 5x5m
Q: DAC/Soundcard?
A: Xonar STX, will be used as PC speakers.
would also like to know, which from this speakers use most quality parts, and the exact models of amps, for example i heard mosfet based amps are the best, and better then PWM/regular amps.

Bump, come on guys tongue.gif

Just bought some Insignia NS-B2111 for $25. I wanted to try them out. For the price I got them I'm pleasantly surprised. Obviously I can't even begin to compare them to my KEFs.

^^^Looks very nice.

The stock potentiometer on the Bottlehead Crack has some low volume channel imbalance that is avoided with my recent purchase of a pair of 12db attenuators
