I really like it so far, but I haven't been able to listen to it much. And I've been having some problems with my machine too.

Picked up a pair of Fisher ST-410's in like new condition on Saturday. $36 for both, which was not bad at all I think. biggrin.gif

Yay ! I can finally post something here.

So I saw an add that said ""Audio-casette" for € 7 . Clicked on it and apparently it came with a receiver as well. Quickly found out it was a Sanyo DCX2000L. Pretty much the lowest from the line but for €7 I couldn't resist.
Went to take a look (only a 45 km drive) and I was amazed ! The thing is in near-mint condition (except for the "old-people" smell ) . At first I thought it would be € 7 each, but apparently it was for the both of them. I looked at him like this o.0 and said: "Euhm, that's a bit on the low side, here take € 10" . So I go fetch my car to park it on the drive-way to load them in. Then when I re-entered I noticed he also moved the speakers. So I ask him: "What? Are the speakers included?" He said yes. So I gave him an other € 10 tongue.gif . I am happy with my deal and he is happy as well. Perfect ! thumb.gif
I could've gotten a turntable as well but I already have one I don't use so I declined.

This is what my € 20 (and some petrol) got me :
1 near-mint Sanyo DCX2000L :

1 Sanyo tape deck (EDIT: Casette deck seems to be the right word), also in very good condition but switches need some cleaning on the inside I think:

2 Major Acoustics S 240 Speakers (Never heard of them? Me neither tongue.gif) (1 in good condition, other has some scratches on the top):

Original owner's manual and a brochure:

Quite nice to have a look at the brochure from 1975, black and white TV's next to Colour TV's, those little tape players etc.
Original price of the DCX2000L was 10,950 BEF (Belgian Franc) which is about € 270 .

A quick peek at the internals revealed some leaking caps so will open her up, give her a thorough inspection, do some cleaning (really, the "old people" smell is quite pungent blushsmiley.gif), check DC offset and replace caps as necessary. FUN FUN FUN biggrin.gif

Just purchased the RCA version of the ODAC this morning. Also purchased some cables for my living room audio setup and a Sennheiser HD650 cable for my HD600 when I found out that the HD600 came with a cable that was thinner and was actually a 3.5 mm plug with a deep socket adapter.

Hopefully, I'll have better audio by the end of the week!

Picked up a Bowers and Wilkins HTM62 center channel to go with my 685s. Matches nicely and although its not as sensitive as the 685s a few level adjustments and it integrates nicely. Wasn't looking to pick one up right now but I grabbed it for $200.00 and its like new!
