I didn't get these today but I finished the boxes and mounted them today. They sound so amazing compared to the ones that came with the amp - i was missing sounds with the old. They also get low enough to blend right in with the sub. Boxes still need sanding and painting but that will wait.

Nice. Making your own audio hardware is always so satisfying.

I still need to make some from 3" HiVi full range drivers.

Unless you're trying to do delta-sigma in ISE and Matlab and implement on a limited number of DSP slices.

Gave away a huge lot of kitchenware that was given to me that I never used, it was sort of high quality stuff (ugly tho) so the person receiving them insisted I take away their receiver that is "difficult to use". It was a Yamaha RX-V771, which has at least at some point had the MSRP of like $800 around here. I asked are they absolutely sure because this thing is worth money, but they shrugged and went "so is this 'dumb pottery' as you call it". Oh well! biggrin.gif

Now I just need some decent passives to hook up with them, been looking at Tannoy Reveal 601P..
