Thread Starter
Hi all im looking at getting an opty, intially i was going for the 3700 San Diego but i want some overclocking fun so im going for the opty....But im after a fan as i doubt the stock one will cut it. I want a fan that will be good for overclocking my opty and keeping it nice and cool but that is quiet....as quiet as possible really. I know im asking alot....but is there one?

had been looking at zalman aero flower or the gigabyte pro or coolermaster Hyper6+

your help is appreciated!

if you have any good links to heatsink reviews...that would be ace!

Oh im getting the DFI NF4 Expert what not mobo!

Yep, the performance is significantly better than the Zalman and the noise output is below 20dB, so virtually silent. It's just massive, that's how it cools so well

i still don;t understand why all the hype for the Typhoon. I've seen better reviews than those for the typhoon. I never hear anyone rave about it like the people on this forum.

I had the option, and I went with my z9500. I didnt want an ugly, heavy, huge fan cooler sittin in my case.....the zalman does an excellent job anyways..
