iMac with Intel Core Duo runs windows

Software just works

In the world of iMac, nothing is complicated — even when the internal architecture advances so dramatically. So when it comes to running software on your Intel-based iMac, prepare for the expected: it just works. Applications with the Universal symbol run on either PowerPC- or Intel-based iMac computers. Most existing applications will run on your Intel-based iMac, too. Simply launch them as always. Thanks to the Rosetta technology in Mac OS X, they look and feel just like they did before.1

Phil Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of worldwide product marketing, said in an interview Tuesday that the company won't sell or support Windows itself, but also hasn't done anything to preclude people from loading Windows onto the machines themselves.

The deal is though, they are going to make every effort possible to stop people from running mac on a traditionally windows system, but they most likely wont do squat about people booting windows on their macs... but you have to ask yourself "why am I putting windows on my mac?"

I think the only thing it doesn't have that other computers do is access to bios so unfortunatley there is no overclocking.. not yet at least
