wow, you bought the FX....awesome. Dont use a program in windows to overclock, go into the bios..dont turn up your voltage yet. You can get to 2.8 or so with default volts..

Try these settings first..

250 x 11
HTT x 4
vcore default (1.35)
Memory divider "max memclock" 200 (400) 1:1
memory timings 2.5-3-3-5 1T
Memory voltage 2.6

V-Core seems very high .LOosen off the timmings for the ram and set a divider to 333mnz then set your ht to X3 and raise the fsb

Lets you o/c more stable over 1000 mhz fsb .When you find out how far you can get with the mobo and cpu start tightening up your timmings .I still leave mine quite loose when im working on a day to day basis but i tighten them up for o/cing .Those timmings that tytlyf gave you look good so use them when to tighten up to when you have your o/c

If i have given a piece of advice that is wrong or misinformed please pm me as this was the 1st piece of advice i was given .A good o/c is not about one single part working fast .when the guy gets a good o/c on his cpu then he needs to tighten the timmings then until then tight timmings will only hinder

No no no...Hes got Gskill FX, can you link us to that RAM? I am pretty sure I know which you are using and if I'm correct that ram uses UTT chips. If this is true, set your mem divider to 1:1 and leave your timings tight at 2-2-2-5 and up the vdimm. Leave vcore at default (1.35 i think?) and set your cpu clock to 255 which should boot fine. If not lower your your speed to 250 and try again. It all depends on the RAM but if it is what I am thinking then I am right.

Good luck
