Well good luck with that, if you do get it for that much than good.. But that just means major losses for Sony that may not be able to be redeemed in accessories and games alone..

Don't worry, in the last years Sony got used to losses , although in 2005 they finally made some profit again!

I remember the PS2 being fl. 1199,- (guilders) which would be about €545,- *_*. Oh well, the Nintendo GameCube will probably be my last console

From whom? Sony has not announced pricing yet, any price that a vendor is quoting you is pure speculation.

imo Metroid needs to stick to a 3rd person game like the originals. I hated prime. Super Metroid all the way!

Metroid Prime was awesome. One of the best games at the time. They just need to be careful that the whole series does not turn into another mindless FPS like the rest.

I think it's a pretty safe bet that the ps3 will cost $399.

How much will the revolution cost?

It's going to be significantly behind the Ps3 and 360 in terms of graphic power, and that controller looks like a pretty gimmicky idea to me. I think I'll pass.

I remember I got the gamecube for christmas the year xbox came out because it was the last system left on the shelves. I traded it in after like 3 months. I'm going to preorder ps3 this time.
