Thread Starter
Well I have an old 40mm fan that I want to be well, 2 pin instead of 3. Any simple mod I can do to it?

Well, with the 3-pin systems, one of the wires is only for monitoring fan speed. The other two are simply the positive and negative leads. I guess you could try supplying juice with a 12v (or even a 9v) battery to the different leads until the fan runs, then you would at least know which wire you could lose.

Sorry if that helps you nil.
