AMD 64 Dual Core vs FX not high end advise

Hi All

Upgrading chip from 3500+ to either 3800+ Dual Core or 4200+ Dual Core or
FX-53....

I have an Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe with 939 chipset, OCZ Memory EL and a XFX 7800GTX (one for now)....

I don't want to go much higher not enough for the money in return unless buying FX-60...

Ideas and thoughts....

3800 x2 or opty 165 if you can deal with the 9x multi, you'll gain dual 1 mb cache's

fx-53 is throwing away your money, and IMO so is the 4200+

You dont have to change your board for the opteron 165, it's supported...these days you would be crazy to go for the X2's over the opteron dually's....my
That memory should be fine with the x9 multi, but if you want the x10, go with the opty 170.
