I just bought Fear today and all i gotta say is wow, the graphics are the best i ever seen in a game thus far, and the game itself is very spooky I took a few ss theres one in there of Bigval eating some chips to haha
I maxed everything out to maximum and max resolution with no hitch at all finally im able to play games at there fullest, i got so sick of my last pc i built because i couldnt run my games maxed out, anyhow was a good investment for me and worth every penny.

maxed out? no offense, but how? I saw the SLI benches on 7800s with FEAR and it still tanked to the 20s. Still, i bet it looked amazing. It really is a great game, fun from start to finish.

When i ran the test with all my settings maxed out it never went under 41fps
And thats with the max resolution allowed by the game.

EDIT: Heres a ss of the test

Hey, nice to see someone else using an Abit board, I thought I was the only one. How's the overclock?

I just put mine together this week and I haven't had a chance to dabble.

Are you kidding? Pandapimp's 7800GTX and 3800+ X2 at 2.5GHz was enough to play F.E.A.R. at all maximum at 1600x1200 at about 70 solid FPS and even my rig can do it at all max @ 1280x1024 at about 30 FPS.

How come you don't play at 1280X960? It looks bad on a flat panel when you don't run at the native resolution because all the pixels get blockey. Even my comptuer can handle 1280X960 on high (no soft shadows) with 2Xaa.

You also have to remember that the benchmarks you see aren't from OC'd rigs. Almost every member of this forum has their cpu, ram, and video cards cranked up with optimum settings and the very best drivers. This isn't your average crowd
