DJ Software?

Hey guys,
I'm gonna start DJing at my fraternity, Delta Upsilon here at Bucknell University. I need a DJ program (besides iTunes) that I can use to DJ. Something that has easy access to the mixing board, easy to request a new song... etc.

Part of the reason I don't want to use iTunes is because I have so much OTHER music in there that I store only on my external hard drive. If I can use a separate program, I can copy the DJ music onto my laptop and not have to use my external.

Suggestions?

There used to be a hip hop mixing station for putting together 2 audio sources for a continuous mixing thing. I'm not sure if that is what you want tho as DJ'ing has been a very broad term for so long now and it could mean stitching together songs or writing them.

Sorry I didnt specify. I'm not mixing my own tunes, just picking and choosing what a play next and using the equalizer so I can adjust certain frequencies on the go.

I used Traktor once, it's really nice, lots of features, a bit tough to learn at first, so some practice is gonna be needed. They also got some compatible devices to let you control some/most of the audio features of the software from these, instead of using a mouse/keyboard.
