NFSMW: Highest Bounty in 1 Pursuit

Just curious to know what the highest bounty for each pursuit you all have had....My personal best was 2.6 Million total (wish I had a screen of it), but post up the best bounty you've achieved, even if it's during your career.

Post screens to if you have a good chase from now on

I'll post a screen with my Viper (got the Pink SLip) got the 2.6 Million on the second pursuit with it, got busted once before that

My highest was the one right before I took on Razor, and I believe I got 2.8 million. Yup, 2.8 million. This was in my totally decked out Audi TT, which is a great car for pursuits if you ask me, fast, carries a lot of inertia through roadblocks, and all wheel drive for traction if you do get stopped.

The Viper carries a lot of weight and doesn't spin the tires as much when opening it up from a standstill....the Carrera 4 likes to spin the tires which doesnt make much sense since it's 4WD but the Viper can take on a HEAVY SUV and hold it's own other cars have been knocked over from them.

I can pretty much take out all but the Federal GTO's and Vette's on the highway with one fell swoop with the car side by side with it as well

I'm just starting the career- what are good blacklist racers to try and get their pinkslips?
Right now i'm getting one performance marker and one bonus marker, should i save up all of my performance markers and totally deck out a car or what? Do you get better unique performance upgrades or are they all "Junkman"?

EDIT: BTW, what do you guys use to steer? keyboard? gamepad? wheel? I use the Xbox 360 contoller

That's what I did, I just tried to get one bonus marker and always went for the performance marker as well. The upgrades get better as you go on, soon get things like custom racing tires, turbo upgrades, engine upgrades, etc. What car you want is up to you, I found both the Audi TT and Lotus Elise to be excellent cars, but I also bought both of them instead of winning them. What I did is I went out of the career mode and got the cars I wanted to try out and ran them on quick races, and found the Lotus to be one of the fastest consistantly. It'll depend on your driving style though. Also, remember, if you're low on cash, you can always rerun races you've already won for some more cash. Oh, and I use keyboard, but I want a wheel so bad.

You should really give the XBox 360 controller a shot. I like racing wheels myself, but, I never have anywhere to attach them too where it would be comfortable for me to use. With the 360 controller, it's "native" to Windows and the gas and brake pedals are totally analog which makes throttle and brake control extremely easy. This is absolutely crucial especially when you are trying to take a wide turn with as little drop in speed as possible. It's a great controller for it's price and I don't think I'll ever go back to my old Logitech or a racing wheel.

Yeah, i have one, i love it (even if the deadzone is a little non-existent), hopefully Micro$oft will give us some kind of customization program to change deadzone, buttons, etc.

Should I save up all of my performance markers, or what? will I get doubles? Also, what is a good car to get near the beginning? (around blacklist 12 or so)

I started with the IS, I thought it was a great car. Moved to the Evo, and I loved driving that thing. Now I'm on the Cayman S, it's a little hard to drive because for some reason it really has no low end. It doesn't really get going until you hit around 4K.

ahh the xbox360 controller is horrible to play NFSMW with was playin it in my lunch hour on a 360.

Just buy a USB ps2 controller type thing
or the Keyboard as i use.

I may go buy a USB adapter for my PS2 controllers.

I highly disagree, the controller is excellent with this game, what dont you like about it, all the key mappings are the same as if you were playing it on a console. Plug it in get the drivers and you're good to go, granted there is no feedback when you hit something but it's much better than a keyboard, especially when launching (the triggers help a lot)

I started trying when I got to the Cayman S, but in total I got that car, CLK500, Viper SRT-10, Corvette, SLR, DB9

I only bought 3 cars the whole game: Cobalt SS, Carrera 4, and Carrera GT. The Pink Slip cars are fully loaded with the best performance you can get at the time when you beat them so it saves you at least 200,000 once you start getting up to top racers, plus you have 8 spots for cars rather than 3 from NFS:U2
