The major new development that is currently shaking the "120 Hz gaming world" is the LightBoost trick.

If you have the following 120 Hz monitor:
- ASUS VG248QE, VG278H, VG278HE
- BENQ XL2411T, XL2420T, XL2420TX, XL2720T
- ACER HN274H
- Samsung 700D, 750D, 950D (separate Samsung howto)
Then there's a method of reducing motion blur even further, all the way to CRT-quality zero motion blur by tweaking the settings of your monitor and/or drivers.
