If you must go 754 i would get the new 3000+ venice 754 but if its possible i would try to go 939 since the parts are about the same price.

the venice by far...the mobile claw is a pretty old processor and claws dont OC at all. I had a 3200 claw and barely got 300mhz out of it. So I'm basing my review on that.
Either way you are going to get more performance from just the overclock alone on the venice....And you also dont have to worry about that mobile chip being compatible on your motherboard..alot of mobos dont support mobiles..

wont make much of a difference if you can hardly get it over 2,000mhz...lolz
the extra L2 cache is said to equate to 150-200mhz.

Put it this way, if you want a challenge with a processor thats a couple years old, go with the mobile. Some of those reviews had it running 2.3.
But if you want a good chance of a nice overclock, go with the venice. I'm pretty sure either way the venice will outperform the mobile. New vs. Old.
