X850 3DMARK05 "3910"? and HELP! - Page 2

Omega drivers aren't good anymore, at least not better then the latest ATI Catalyst ones.

Get the 5.13s, learn how to tweak your system, and get a higher score.

Being a Dell with a crappy Dell motherboard prob has something to do with it, whats your memory settings at.

That score (5100) is pretty good for your setup.
You will need to bet a new aftermarket cooler in order for your x850 Pro to unlock (if it is even unlockable, because some aren't) it to 16/6. I reccomend a VF-700 Cu, or ALCU.

I have finally unlocked my X850 Pro to 16 Pipelines!!! (Thanks Mr.Blink for IMG)
I tested both drivers w/ Unlocked pipes and here are my 3DMark05 Results:
Lastest Omega Drivers: 5524
5.13 Catlyst Driver: 5584
I recieved a 500 increase. And a little improvement for the Ati Drivers
(I like Catlyst better).
Yeah I agree, cooling is my next perspective. Card heats up soo fast =(
As for memory, I'll fit out the specs later! (tired now)

Thanks for the responses guys. I appreciate is very much! Please feel free to post any additional information. ( My goal is to reach 6000! )

I really wonder if you dell mb is holding you back, my 800 pro clock at 525/575 hits 5810 and its only got 12 pipes + im still on socket 478. I would keep trying to get that score higher.

Whats wrong with the Omega drivers, they have almost every tweak under the sun with the help of the ray adams tray tools??? Interested to see that the cat drivers got a higher score than the omega drivers, I think the omega drivers when installed have Truform and Catalyst AI enabled by default, if you turn that off you will get a better score, they also have mip mapping enabled and a high texture setting enabled by default, the worse you can make it look the higher the frames and the higher the score.

I am running a Northwood Pentium 4 3.00Ghz (I think it's weak) and I cannot do any overclocking. The motherboard itself is locked and the bios doesn't allow me to change the CPU settings. But I think my scores can be higher. Here are some reasons why I think my scores are pretty low.
1) A lot of junk on this computer. I need to reformat this computer badly. I'm waiting for my laCiE Drive!
2) Everything is still in stock speeds except the unlocked 16 pipelines.
3) Cooling is an issue. Maybe the heat is slowing down my videocard? Oh, I just ordered my Arctic Cooler yesterday from newEgg! If i can cool this thing, very hot indeed, I can improve efficiency and overclock it.

I will be testing my scores once again. And i'll post the results again later.
