Does hard drive affect frame rates and 3mark scores?

When my new raptor comes, because my old one broke and i got a new on on warranty, if i put my operating system on the raptor and load 3dmark05 from it, will my score and fps increase.

PLEASE DELETE, FOR SOME REASON IT PROCCESSES TWICE

The score may increase on the new drive because it may be alot healthier than your old one and may perform better.

also, if your HD is in PIO mode (which is slow) you might be sucking power from your cpu...try and see if it is or isn't...if it isn't in PIO mode, you may only see a slight increase. If it is in PIO mode, you'll want to delete your hard drive's IDE controller and restart...this should fix the problem and increase your performance by 8x.
