Seems simple enough; this is the fan-club for those who sacrifice silence for the true meaning of "the pursuit of performance". A single rule as to becoming a member: A Delta fan of over 40dB must be used in a current system you own. Feel free to post pics and what not, this is the thread for all things delta. Because real men use Deltas. Also, no questions about quiet computers. Quiet is not allowed here.

I own Delta fans, but I don't own a server. My computer is near my head. Run a Delta? I'd have to be daft.

But a Delta club sounds like tons of fun.

I'm getting two 120mm 46.5dBA Delta's soon (the AFC1212D-PWM) for use on my heatsink in push-pull [my current push-pull setup sounds like a big joke, believe me ]. Don't have em yet, but am looking forward to joining here when I do
Will probably tone it down during idle use though, but the noise of this fan at full-speed shouldn't bother me as I'll probably be in a heavy gaming session with headphones on or rendering while listening to music anyway
Actually, edit: Is this three-bladed fan (EFB1212VH-F00) any good, the static pressure is definitely less here but it's equal to San Ace fans, and the fan has dual ball bearings as opposed to a single ball bearing, is cheaper than the AFC1212D-PWM and apparently uses less amps, which might be better for my fan controller (I'm worried that at 1.6A out of a possible 1.67A for two fans on one header, my fan controller might get stressed out a bit too much).

Or maybe the sticker on the fan lies (i.e. the AFC1212D is rated 0.53A but the sticker says 0.8A)

Changed my mind again, getting the AFB1212HHE soon for my heatsink. Looks like an excellent fan based on specs
Be sure to place it on your heatsink rather than the case, as that's where you can take the most advantage of it.

AFB is one of Delta's most common, and well suited to normal OCNers. I would jump at the chance to put it in my rig.

Ive got two Delta AFB1212SHE that I got for free at work brand new, sadly I suspect one of them has died, but I havent pulled the computer out to see if it died or came unplugged. I gotta say, they are beastly, loud, and just plain awesome.
