Seems simple enough; this is the fan-club for those who sacrifice silence for the true meaning of "the pursuit of performance". A single rule as to becoming a member: A Delta fan of over 40dB must be used in a current system you own. Feel free to post pics and what not, this is the thread for all things delta. Because real men use Deltas. Also, no questions about quiet computers. Quiet is not allowed here.
I'm getting two 120mm 46.5dBA Delta's soon (the AFC1212D-PWM) for use on my heatsink in push-pull [my current push-pull setup sounds like a big joke, believe me
]. Don't have em yet, but am looking forward to joining here when I do
Will probably tone it down during idle use though, but the noise of this fan at full-speed shouldn't bother me as I'll probably be in a heavy gaming session with headphones on or rendering while listening to music anyway
Actually, edit: Is this three-bladed fan (EFB1212VH-F00) any good, the static pressure is definitely less here but it's equal to San Ace fans, and the fan has dual ball bearings as opposed to a single ball bearing, is cheaper than the AFC1212D-PWM and apparently uses less amps, which might be better for my fan controller (I'm worried that at 1.6A out of a possible 1.67A for two fans on one header, my fan controller might get stressed out a bit too much).
Or maybe the sticker on the fan lies (i.e. the AFC1212D is rated 0.53A but the sticker says 0.8A)
i have one of these Delta AFB1212HHE 120mm x 38mm Case Fan and one of these Delta AFB0912HH 92x25mm 3-Pin Fan just sitting on my desk ready to be used.....are they any good? i took them out of an old server from my old work

AFB is one of Delta's most common, and well suited to normal OCNers. I would jump at the chance to put it in my rig.
Ive got two Delta AFB1212SHE that I got for free at work brand new, sadly I suspect one of them has died, but I havent pulled the computer out to see if it died or came unplugged. I gotta say, they are beastly, loud, and just plain awesome.

I have 2 of those on a Venomous X and am very happy with the performance
@ OP: Lol, my username is xd_1771 and I don't actually have the fans yet but will be purchasing them
Also I decided after lots of thinking to go back to the 120x25mm AFC1212D Delta's for simplicity and size (120x38mm fans = can't use shrouds or the fan will hit the top of my video card. Even if my Dark Knight is positioned the "right" way, there go the rest of my RAM slots)
It's going to be 2 AFC1212D's for push-pull
Now if only my relatives/family can finally decide to get their new home PC so that I can secretly hide the Delta fans in the total cost and parts
At 4000MHz. At idle on auto fan control (ET6), the fans will stop. Had to disable Smartfan to gain time to set Advanced so that the minimum speed was adequate to keep them spinning. They are 2-wire fans, so an auto speed control is . . . interesting.
Using LinX as a stress test: 64.5 dBA at 10cm, equivalent to 44.5 dBA at 1m; but the basement is noisy (38 dBA). Temps (ambient 18c): 79c on Real Temp, 68c on what appears to be the main CPU sensor (mid-heatspreader). With this imperfect preliminary seating, this is my best result so far. Other fans have included San Ace 9G1212H101(1), Ultra Kaze 3000, etc.
At $4.95 apiece I couldn't pass up getting a pair of these.
I just ordered a FFB1212EH-PWM. I am going to use it on my Ultra-120 eXtreme instead of the stock Thermalright fan that came with it. Hopefully this will drop my linx and Prime95 load temps at least 3 or 4 degrees. It should going from 1,500 RPM and 64 CFM to 4,000 RPM and 150 CFM.
God damn can we get some Delta pictures? I want to see a side mount mod of 2-4 delta fans as intake. I just ordered twenty AFC1212DE 148.34 CFM fans so after my modding I will be joining the fan club. Because only pu$$ies worry about "noise."
skip to 0:24 that's when the bios detects the fan and revs it up to full speed
