sorry to bring this thread back from the deadbut im still kinda baffled. how is it that im getting 95,000 in am3 but in 3dm05 im only getting 7,555? isnt the 3d scor low? oh and i upped my pciex bus speed from 101 to 103 and saw that i could raise my core speed from 499 to 508...... so it did help , but thats where im gonna stop it.

That 3DMark05 score is absolutley fine for you rig, remember that it's mainly the GTX's that tend to break the 8000 barrier.

I wouldnt take the AM3 score for granted..it's old...3dMArk05 and 06 should be usedas standard graphics testin.

AM3 uses some messed up equation I would get between 86-89K with all my stuff OC'd and had a lot to do with the rest of the components, my 3dMArk05 and 06 scores were 8276 and 4109, respectively, well above the norm where my AM3 score was below the norm

Hey don't up your memory, leave it stock at 1.2Ghz But mess around with your 3D core about 480-500mhz; at that range you get a boost of performance and have a close 1:1 ratio.
