i have a stock 420watt 14amp psu that came with my aspire case. i just added a 6600gt video card. when temps when idling are 32c and using all cpu power durning a dvd and playing halo at the same time my temps go to 57c this never happened befor the highest it will go is 47c and my 12 volt coltage reads 12.1 when idling and under full load it reads 11.61volts is this the reason for my increased temps???? and is it time for a new psu?? o yea and yea a used a voltmeter to test volts on psu!!!!!! ANy HELP PLEASE

well your psu could be part of the temp problem. if the 12v rail is dipping that low it's probably because your psu is overloaded... and since it is working at 100% capacity it will create more heat. so best case senerio a new psu will solve the problem... worst case... well there really isn't anything bad from getting a better psu.

my only thought is that I'm nto sure you'll be able to fit a regular psu into that case. you might have to look at microatx psus... and I'm not sure if you'll find a very good one.

sunbeam nuuo 550w it's like 82.99 from zipzoomfly.com I just ordered one last week for my bro's rig. it's a nice looking psu and it's modular which would be good for your small case. It also has a nifty 3.5" bay controller w/ a temp display that will complement your current temp display (looks good in Aspire case... that's what my bro has X-Dreamer II)
