Im going to be installing a 30gb ssd .to use as a boot drive along with a few programs, on my laptop which already has a 500gb HDD. The HDD of course ill be using for mass storage.
after going through both guides , i must say that although both are really good, i am a little confused and left with some questions
1.the OP's method is to make SSD seek times available for stuff on the HDD. yes?
2.clearly this is a godsend for me as my SSD is pretty small, however the method seems a little risky and i see a lot of people have had problems with it. what id like to know is , will using sean's method (which is simpler) to move the user's folder bring out the same results? and if not , what would it achieve other than a space save ?
any help appreciated.
