With the $25 dollars I won I helped fulfill the loan for Esperanza En Fe Group. With my donation they have reached the amount that they had requested and all loans are being disbursed to them.

His story is representative of his group and of Esperanza's Haitian and Dominican clients, many of whom recently emigrated to the DR from Haiti. His group is located in the Samana Peninsula, a rugged, lush area with a nascent tourism industry where running water is not potable and electricity is unreliable. He makes his home here in a simple structure with his extended family. Rafael is excited to be taking his first loan from Esperanza and he is excited by the opportunity to expand his business. He sells tennis shoes, women's shoes and used clothing. He plans to use this loan to buy more merchandise to sell. He will use the profits to make his home more livable and to purchase some animals to raise for food. He thanks you for your support. |

It's feels great to give - and feels awesome each month when some of your loan is paid back so you can loan again!

got my first kickback from the loan i gave the group. it wasnt much only like $1.26 but hey its good to see the money getting used and paid back. honesty is the best policy and when we have hard working people trying to do good, only good can come from it.
