Actually, it isnt. Maybe if you've got DirectX 9.0c enabled in CoD2 yea. Otherwise CoD2 is actually pretty easy to run on even bad computers, althought more memory is needed.

What I suggest, is that you buy a new powersupply, its not very good running high end videocards on such a low wattage, btw, do you know the amperage on the +12v for your power supply?

Either way, I think you should be running a power supply w/ 450W or more w/ at least 24a on the +12v rail.

Yeah i run cod2 on dx9. I wouldn't spend 240$ and then put it on dx7 lol.
As for the wattage... I dont think i get what ur saying.

i mean amperage.

Ok, in your system specs, it says your powersupply is only 300W. Depending on what type of power supply it is (what brand) I doubt it has enough power to supply as many things as you have in your system, therefore, you more than likely need a new powersupply, somthing along the lines of 450W+.

Uhh ur trying to say that thats slowing me down? Cuz i really doubt it. I think the psu thing is overrated ><. I can alwas unplug my 30 gig hd and my 8x8 fan on the back if i really need more power. But i tryed that and i get same score on 3dmark03 and 05 so i just dicided to put it back in.

Ok I think im overexaturating this but on everything on high im getting 30-60 fps atm w/o aa and af. Its pissing me off. I upgrated from a 5500fx and it could do like 2/3rds of that on css(ONLY css). However the 5500fx was running at dx lvl 8 so that might have helped it a bit?

Trust me, PSU isn't overrated whatsoever, think about it. If THE most important part in your computer isn't good enough don't you think it would effect everything else? The power supply does exactly what it says, Supplys Power, and if that isnt at its top level, then everything elses performance diminishes. Make sense?

I didn't think that my power supply would make that much of a difference (upgrading from a +12v Rail @ 11A, to a OCZ PowerStream w/ +12v Rail @ 33A), I got about a +100MHz overclock, I could go that high before, just not stable. So trust me, it has an impact.

By 8x8 fan, do you mean 80mm fan?, and getting a 400W isn't going to make that much a difference, when I said 450W+, I really ment 500W, somthing like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817151024

Seasonic is one of the best brands out there, aside from PC Power & Cooling, and as well as Enermax, Antec, Silverstone, and OCZ.

Take a deep breath... I know you are frustrated. The people here are trying to help, but it's tough when we don't have your system in front of us. I DO think your power supply is underpowered for your card/system, which may explain some of your overclocking weirdness. I DO NOT think it's causing your low CS FPS though. You should be scoring higher. I can't keep track - have you tried the catalyst 5.13 drivers? People are getting higher scores in 3dmark05 with the new 5.13's vs. the latest omegas. It also sounds like you may have been trying a lot of different settings. It sounds like a pain in the arse, but you might want to un-install any video drivers and atitool to get rid of the settings. Un-install CS to rule out a game issue. Install the 5.13 drivers and CS without atitool. Just a suggestion. It's going to be a process of elimination, so it might take us a while to figure it out. I'm sure we will get it figured out!
