that game is all i play, i read all the posts. my brother has a x700pro with a 3000+ 64bit and we get 140 FPS in stress test. yes i use a config but you should get MUCH higher than 30-60. my low is 60 and thats rare, i mean if i am in a pub with 16 people ill get 60 when everyone is in one place shooting, otherwise im at 100. id make sure you dont have that stupid lighting option on, i know all maps dont use it but its possible you have it on. Other than that if your other games are fine.. i would just make sure you look at your settings because that FPS is low for your comp. maybe this didnt help much but also, have you tried a full reinstall of the game? with your new card and whatnot that might solve it, get a fresh install on the new video card.

I'm 99% sure that the problem is due to running a card that's not 100% compliant with the slot. I'd be willing to bet money on it.

Dunno. Perhaps CS is putting a specific load on the card that the other games aren't. When I had my similar issue (I say similar, because my problem was more severe), it only happened when I played Quake 3 for a few minutes. I upgraded my MOBO, and the problem went away. It's possible you are having more than one issue too. All I am saying is that your AGP slot is not 100% compatible with your card. It's a fact. I'm not sure if you should keep troubleshooting it until you upgrade your MOBO. It's kind of like trying to run Windows XP with 64 MB of RAM. Sure, it might work, but not very well.

When i ran farcry on all max + 4x aa and 16x af it ran perfectly w/ some distorted crap(maybe be the copy of the game). And that game is demanding.
I ran kotor2 like crazy w/ 1024x768 on max w/ 4x aa and 16x af. Do you recommend any other benchmark I should test? Because for a 11750 score on 3dmark03 and a 5500 on 05...I really feel i should be getting a lot more from css or cod2. But ive heard cod2 is really demanding on extra w/ dx9 so I didnt panic.

Yea... mrblink might be right. Considering not very many buy Soyo motherboards other than for servers and such. Either way, you should get a new motherboard, I'm not saying there's anything wrong w/ soyo boards, but they definatley weren't made for gaming.

Try an nForce Chipset board.
