My msi died, but before I couldn't get it over 240x10. read around and some of the neo4s had this same problem. would the platinium be better? I'm just freaked about buying boards now because I've got 3 faulty boards in a row.

This is OLD review with OLD BIOS in Asus mobos. People are reaching 300MHz of FSB, if you search around for more recent reviews or overclock results
They say 255MHz FSB is max, LOL, I myself run FSB at 271 and can boot and get into BIOS with FSB of 300MHz.
Latest BIOS is a must!

I've seen at least 3 people on this forum within the last 2 months say the exact same thing. They couldn't get a high fsb with a 1:1 ratio. Are you on a divider?

no devider but here is one thing that EVERYONE over looks , we (the pople stuck on a certain FSB) arent using the good MSI NEO4-F (and i really mean its a good board) we have the Via- K8T chipset / via North/south bridge and it was a awful chipset - the SATA bus would drift off freq and throw everything else off, cause it would try to prevent the SATA Bus from drifting and lock the system up cause it flushed stabilty on error correction.
