I like checking things inside.
If you trust yourself then try checking inside there might be just loose items somewhere.

I never solved my issue. I went ahead and got the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium HD and Sennheiser PC360's. Lets just say I'm VERY happy with my sound now.

You can just RMA the headset. I'm sure logitech will replace it as long as you ship it in first.

Your onboard soundcard can only do so well.

The rumbling and distortion is normal for most games that aren't set up for surround sound. Heck, most of the time, I don't use the surround sound portion of the headset. tongue.gif
