OCZ Value Series

Thread Starter
Has anyone had any experience with OCZ Value Series with DFI motherboards? I'm looking to purchase some of their ram (2 X 512) as un upgrade to my OEM 1 gig stick which runs at 2.4-4-4-8 timings at tops out at DDR440 speeds. I've heard of people getting past DDR480 with their value series and was wondering if you all had any experience.

well if you want to OC you're better off not getting value series RAM. You can run a dividor... but you're probably not going to get them much farther than 200.
really the only gain you'll get from that upgrade would be some tighter timings and dual channel.

You'd probably be much better off spending a little bit extra and getting some RAM that OC's well

I have it, it doesn't OC well. I could barely manage a 220 with it and forces me to run a divider.
