I believe the clock ratio is just another term for "multiplier". When set to default, cool and quiet is enabled. When set to any other option, cool and quiet is disabled.

Most likely your multiplier is locked so you can't raise it, only lower it if you want to increase MHz "fsb" for better overclock.

im guessing thats it

, my default is x10, i lowered it to x9 for a higher fsb/htt what ever u wanna call it. my fsb atm is 278, and its pretty stable but havent ran P95 for more then 3 hours. i can get up to 290 fsb, but P95 fails within 15 mins.

9 X 278 = 2506mhz stable
10X 290 = 2610mhz un-stable

the Venice cores i believe would be rock solid stable at 2.5 and at 2.6 considerable stable.

Have you tried rasing the voltage? Try that and you may get a better overclock.
