Quick question

Thread Starter
Just a quick question here with some help I need.

See the Zalman GPU fan, the Zalman VF700-Cu. What's the difference between the Zalman VF700-Cu and the Zalman VF700-AlCu. Obviously the AlCu is a hybrid between aluminium and copper while the Cu is pure copper. What I want to know is, is there that much of a difference in cooling performance between the two? If so, could someone get me some results so I can see? Also, I take it there's no difference in the noise levels between the two products right? Thanks a bunch!

The all-copper version is the best. Aluminum isn't as good at transferring heat as copper is. The noise would be the same because they have the same fans, but there is no noise with this cooler

The all copper one will be better at transffering the heat quicker so i would reccomend that one as for noise they will both be the same as they both will use low rated DB fans

It's only five bucks, and you probably aren't going to find results comparing them because nobody buys the AlCu version.

Lol, there is not much of a difference (1-3c at most) between the AlCu and the Cu but I would get the Cu since it is only $5, what else would you do with that money honestly? But then again, I have literally zero sence of value and cost effectiveness so I guess it is up to you, I would get it solely because all copper looks better than half copper and half aluminum in my opinion.

No no, it's a fiver, UK pounds sterling. You could get a couple of cappuchinos and a nice piece of cheesecake with a fiver! Haha! Don't know. I see what takes my fancy. Thanks anyways
