floppy cdrom and sound i already have keyboard and mouse i have but need a gaming set any recommendation? looking for cheap here no more than $60 for the set

Also would like to find a good deal on 10,000 RPM HD's don't want larger than 80Gb (will be running raid 0 with 2 of them)

Windows XP Pro vs 64-bit is it worth it and is the 32 bit emulation very good?

Things I'm looking to exchange:

One concern I have is my MOBO CPU combo I'm not to sure what would be better a A8N32 or Premium I know this has been discussed in other threads but i have not found any persuading features on either i have read the masses say that DFI is the way to go... however i have read about instabilities in these Mobo's and i am definitely wanting stability primarily also I have been debating switching to a single core processor like this

AMD Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego 1GHz FSB 1MB L2 Cache Socket 939 Processor for 334

Although I am not an audiophile but i have read that the on board audio is grossly unsatisfactory for the A8N32 is this the case and if so is the card I have spec'd sufficient for a sub par 5.1 setup

I also want to change the PSU but i have no idea what is a good brand or anything like that also does anyone have any case recommendations I picked this one because of the carrying handle but reviews say its a POS:turd: so I'm also looking to exchange that I'm also worried about cooling in this case
any insight?

And finally i have spec'd out a pci raid controller. I am wondering if the raid controller on the A8N32 is sufficient or if it will be a slight hindrance and would be worth the extra card

Thanks for all the help!!!!

Also, that's if you want a nice sound card for that price, look for the Audigy 2 ZS on Newegg.

Id go with a 3700+ or and Opteron 146/148. And personally I'd go with an SLI-DR Expert or just plain old SLI-DR. The 3700+ will OC just as good as the 4000+. And you don't need a dual core, although it is a bit more future proof. You will need some after market ccooling, probly a Thermaltake Big Typhoon. You shouldn't need the RAID card, because the mobo already supports 0/1/0+1. Look at a better case than that also; one without a PSU and with a couple 120mm fans and a side intake window fan. The PSU's that come with cases aren't exactly the best and can blow, taking everything with it. Go with a OCZ 520w Powerstream.

well im kinda limited on the budget and cant really go much over the 1500 mark although what im thinking about doing is getting all the necessities at once and adding on later like the sound card for example

as for the raid controller i really just picked one as a pricing place holder i didnt research that to much because i wasnt sure if the mobo controller would suffice

Thanks again for the advice

You can do water cooling for about $150-$200 for a great setup, or the best air setup is a big typoon.
http://www.xoxide.com/swiftech-h2o-120-premium.html

Do a custom and it will work better for about $130. If you want to do a custom, PM me and I can help you out.
