New Build - Page 2

Yeah, it does look pretty cool. If you really want it, go for it, but I'd get a Thermaltake or Lian-Li for about that price off newegg. And you can get a Audigy 2 ZS for the price of the sound card you had marked.

Unless you really need the 64 bit support, I'd go ahead and get regular WinXP (preferably pro).

x64 is seriously lacking when it comes to drivers. My vote's in for XP Pro.

Get this ram instead: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231021

That seasonic is nice but not enough to power what your running, your in the 500-600w range, so i would reccommend this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817103512

Go with this sound card instead: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16829102178

As for the case that ones fine, but it won't give you very good airflow, go with this one (o nice its onsale too!): http://xoxide.com/sunbeam-transformer-case-black.html

EDIT: i just noticed your setting up a raid-0 array, save your money on the raid card and get a raptor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822144160

save money on the motherboard, that's way too much money..you could save $100 right there. And I would look into other harddrives besides those. That's too much money and overkill for what you want to do. I would recommend some 7200rpm 16m cache drives instead..
