RAID is giving me trouble!!!!

Thread Starter
First of all, I don't have the driver diskette because I ordered the mobo from an EBAY shop and they only sent the mainboard (no components because I didn't think I would need them).
I also tried slipstreaming with nlite, but no matter how many times I do it, I still get an endless reboot after a BSOD.
And I don't have a floppy drive on hand and the ones I do are broken. Are there ANY other ways to implement hardware raid?

What mobo?

Edit:
NM. You need a floppy

Edit again:
Come to think of it, you could do it with an unattend...
More typing than I care to give, but try this: http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/1/

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if I need to integrate Windows into a striped array, don't i need to UNINSTALL the old windows and then install the drivers and then INSTALL the new windows? It sounds like I'll need a floppy for that -_-.

hey... I think I can help you out... although you will need a floppy drive. you can get new oem ones from newegg for like 10. I've bought 3 of the sony ones and been very pleased w/ all 3... that said here's what you need to do.

You do not need to get drivers from your mobo manufacture (DFI in this case... if this is the mobo in your sig)

just go to Nvidia's website and download the newest NF4 SLI platform drivers.
unpack them on a different computer. by default they should to to c/nvidia/nforcewin2kxp/version number/
go there and you'll see a folder labled IDE open that up and then use the one that says winxp there will be folders... then open up the folder labled sataraid. now is when you'll need the floppy... highlight all the files in that folder and right click and send to floppy. make sure you have a clean formated disk in the drive.

now, then on your computer that you want to set up your raid... go into the bios and enable nvidia raid and enable the specific sata ports your drives are plugged into. then exit and enter the nvraid setup utility. set up your drives.

now you are ready to install windows. when you boot from your windows cd hit F6 when it tells you to if you have 3rd party drivers. it will take a min, then give you the opportunity to load drivers. stick your floppy in and load your drivers. (always load the 2nd one first)

install windows
