What do these numbers correspond to?

Alright, I installed SpeedFan so I can monitor my temps, and I'm a bit confused about what it says. For Temp 1 it says 36C, so I assume this is the CPU. For Temp 2 it says 27C, so I would assume this is the chipset, except it matches the temp for the HDD readout. Temp 3 was reading -71C, so I disabled that . Are these safe assumptions?

Im pretty sure temp 2 is vid card i could be wrong but then why is my chipset ghetting to 115F?

I don't know if my card has a temp sensor, so I'm also thinking it could be my case. I've never seen that above 28 or 30.

Try to get ahold of "Everest Home Edition". It used to be a Free program that would show you the correct sensors and temperatures. If you can find it, just open speedfan and everest, and compare the 2 screens and temperatures. That's the easy way. Other than that, the temperature that increases the quickest when you start a stress program is the CPU.
