Need some help with OCing an 820.

I get my 820 up to 230mhz and windows loses critical files and refuses to boot. This has happened 3 times now and the hard drive has to be reformatted every time. Any ideas?

The only times that I ever experienced data corruption was as a result of my RAM. Try running Memtest86 to ensure your RAM settings are stable as you overclock. The software runs independent of the OS, so run it right after you change your BIOS settings as you overclock.

Have you locked your PCI-E and PCI clocks at 100.0MHz and 33.3MHz in the BIOS? if not lock them, as they can cause corruption at higher speeds.
