This is my motherboard, its ram specs say stuff that i dont fully understand..

like it says DDR200/266 DIMM. does that mean i HAVE to have that kind?

Supports 2.5v DDR SDRAM. does it HAVE to be that voltage?

does it have to be unbufferd? and what sdoes that mean? whats the differance?

hey... take a look here
http://www.msicomputer.com/product/p...am2-v&class=mb

that's the link to the mobo that you linked from compusa.

I am a bit confused though... Please tell me that this mobo is not for the rig in your sig... cause that P4 530 is a socket 775 cpu.

but anyway, on the left hand side MSI has links to find memory that will work in the motherboard. basically you can get any DDR400 and it will work. just get unbuffered, non-ECC. that's what most DDR RAM is and it's the cheapest. OCZ, g.skill, geil, kingston and mushkin are all good brands
