i have a feforce 6200 le but when i install the latest nvidia drivers my card goes from 256 meg to 128.
anyone know how i can install the latest drivers but keep the cards memory

Does your GF6200 have the 256mb built into the card itself, or does it use the system memory? May sound like a stupid question, but my 6200 (which I'm using untill my new 512mb Radeon x700 arrives) has only 16mb built-in and uses 112mb from the system memory.

If this is the case, get into your BIOS and see if you can allocate more memory towards your Video Card. If not, I'd try out the Omega Drivers (www.omegadrivers.net). They've gotten me out of a pickle before..

hmmm

What you should do in the meantime is roll-back your drivers. In other words restoring them to what they originally were before you upgraded them.

Right-click on 'My Computer', then go to 'Properties'
Click on the 'Hardware' Tab, then click on 'Device Manager'
Click on the '+' next to 'Display Drivers', then double-click your Display Device.
Click on the 'Driver', then click on the 'Roll Back Driver'

This should uninstall the new drivers that caused the stuff-up and restore the original ones. See if this fixes your problem...then try and install those Omega Drivers I told you about..
